Business Developer

As Business Developer (she/he/they) you will join our enthusiastic team with a mission to capture carbon and distribute Green Carbon Dioxide to companies that are active in the food & beverage sector, like horticulture, food packaging, and bottling. In this full time position you will be responsible for the sales budget. While in 2023 the main focus will be on customer pilots and pre-sales, in 2024 this will shift towards launch of sales. You will be a key member of the Business Team driving growth.

Your Challenges

Are you ready to commit to the following milestones in 2023: sales of customer pilots, pre-sales of Green Carbon Dioxide, and matching carbon capture locations?

Your main activities will include:
Customer acquisition
Finding water locations for carbon capture
Maintaining the portfolio in Salesforce, incl. the sales forecast
Preparing applications for financial instruments
Reporting the business performance, and planning the milestones

Your Background

We are looking for professionals with a rock solid background:
At least 7 years working experience, preferably in medium sized or scale-up company.
Broad network and seasoned in the food & beverage sector
MSc in Business Administration or another relevant domain
Excellent business acumen, hands-on team player with a clear eye for operational and team requirements
Realizing ambitious goals within milestones and budgets
Dutch resident, in case of foreign nationality in possession of a valid working permit
