Step 1: Starting your Application

Hi there! As you probably have learned by now, the team at Pure Carbon Blue is very driven and ambitious when it comes to realizing our Mission 2030. Therefore, we are always interested to get in touch with talented experts who feel a strong connection to our mission.

Do you see a potential match?
If so, it’s up to you to take the first step by filling out the application form.
Is there no suitable job opening at the moment, but would like to join our mission, don’t hesitate to reach out anyway. We are always excited to meet new talent and discuss (future) possibilities.

We will screen all applications thoroughly and aim to provide feedback as soon as possible. When we see a potential match between Pure Carbon Blue and your profile, our Talent Acquisition Specialist will set up a first call to discuss your experience, ambitions and motivation. This call will usually take around 30 minutes. Of course, you will also get the opportunity to learn more about our company, our culture, and the job opening. Furthermore, we will also touch upon practical stuff such as the (ideal) start date, and salary expectations.

Step 2: Let’s get to know each other better

We strive for an objective hiring process. Therefore, the next step is to assess how you perform. This assessment may include an online game that relates to the role that you apply for.

The assessment game will be followed by a face-to-face interview, as we would like to meet you in person. Therefore, we would like to schedule a meeting at our office in Amsterdam. During this meeting we will dive deeper into the expectations for the position and your experience. These are some of the kind of questions that you can expect:
Is the job opening really your ideal next step?
Are you ready to propagate our culture?
Do you have what it takes?

This meeting will be with the Team Lead for this position and another Pure Carbon Blue colleague. We will schedule 60 – 90 minutes for this meeting. Together, we aim to complete all these steps within one week time.

Step 3: Are we in Business?

Upon successfully completing the assessment and interview, we would love to invite you in again for interviews with the Team Lead and our CEO. During these final conversations we will discuss your assessment results, your vision about the job and questions that you may have. We want to make sure that we have covered all important topics related to successfully joining our mission. For each meeting we will schedule 60 – 90 minutes.

Within one week the hiring team will debrief, and decide whether you are our preferred new team member for the position. If that is the case, you will receive our offer.

You can expect an offer that’s based on your current professional qualities. We leave parameters such as your age, previous salary, and years of experience out of the equation. We value you for who you are today, and your capability to be successful with your new team to accomplish your part of the mission.

After that, we will keep close contact to help you prepare in the best way possible for your new job.
